Using chatbots and automated pedagogy to increase university completion rates

We have been working with universities in Europe and the US, to create a best practice for building active learning communities. This best practice includes how to position the communities, what roles are involved, how to reach critical mass of student activity to get the community off the ground, how to remove fear of contributing so people ask when they need help, and how to reward the contributors in the community so they repeat their behavior.
Teachers have been trying to create these kind of communities for years using different tools, but only getting 5% participation in their learning management systems, 20% in their Facebook groups. In Differ, using our best practice, we have institutions with 85% average participation rate in their courses and up to 3x increased course completion rates.

Differ is a student collaboration app with chatbot teaching assistants that increases student engagement and retention in higher education. Courses using Differ have up to 19x more student participation compared to learning management systems and are launched in the Nordics, Europe, and the US to date. Now evaluating the Chinese and Asian markets and looking for local partners and first mover universities.
Differ was founded by a Norwegian Serial Entrepreneur and a Entrepreneurship lecturer at Universtiy of Oslo in pure frustration of focus of current learning teachnology. To educate students capable of building a better future, we need education technology that rewards the habits of collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, often referred to as 21st century skills.
